on january 10, 2019 national science and technology awards conference was held in the great hall of the people. five national science and technology awards including the highest national science and technology award, the national technological invention award and the national science and technology progress award were presented at the conference. citic dicastal participated in the "key technologies and applications for forming large-sized aluminum alloy wheels" and won the second prize of national science and technology progress. this is the first time citic dicastal has won the national science and technology progress award. it is a substantial achievement of citic dicastal's insistence on innovation-driven development. the winning representatives were invited to attend the award ceremony at the great hall of the people.
the project "key technologies and applications for forming large-sized aluminum alloy wheels" is jointly researched by five domestic research, design and manufacturing units, including citic dicastal, beijing university of aeronautics and astronautics and xinyue intelligent equipment. the project breaks through the bottleneck of strong water-cooling forming technology with light weight, high efficiency and high performance in manufacturing large-sized aluminum alloy wheels and creates a new mode of digital manufacturing of aluminum alloy wheels. the results of the project have been fully applied to high-quality customers at home and abroad, playing an important role in providing lightweight solutions for customers.
